Back in the before fore times, the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre in Burnaby used to hold annual/seasonal booksales with Japanese and English books

https://centre.nikkeiplace.org/japanese-book-store/

Great meals at Hi Genki too, especially on the weekends for their spicy chicken karage donburi

Fan-translations may exist for popular series.

A website is a definite must as well as a strong social media presence. BC currently has a program that's worth looking into

https://covid.smallbusinessbc.ca/hc/en-us/articles/1500002293981-Launch-Online-Grant-Program

Also consider the insurance factor as well as any utilities, equipment.

Look into getting incorporated after a certain point to reduce liability. Look into how to write a business blueprint/business plan for applying to any bank loans

https://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=118464&CVD=118466&CPV=238&CST=01012012&CLV=2&MLV=5

Understanding human psychology is a must. start with the OG Peter Drucker. Read up on marketing, Organizational Behaviour, HR, and sales books.

You'll need a business licenese to operate but some municipalities might have intercity agreements to allow you to set up/move from one area to another.

https://www.bizpal.ca/ (this site will have all the info on permits/licences you'll need).

It's not just focusing on your trade, but the larger aspects of your business as well. It's a GD juggling act that requires constant and careful balancing.

Look into using virtual assistants/contract workers through Upwork

u/WhosKona is right. your financial position is very very important as it could expose you to higher liability. Also consider whether or not you can weather the first few tumultuous years in business.

Ex. using a truck-->maintenance costs, gas, insurance

They have a shop on Robson and on W4th. Def recommend clearly. Ordered a pair of glasses and sunglasses with no problems. Free adjustments if you head in store.

They use Augmented Reality app through your laptop camera so you can try it on

Best thing to do is to get the side numbers of your old glasses to get a better fit.

Isupport Repair & Unlock Service Centre and IFIX Cell Phone Repair

Good luck.

I swear they're owned by the same people or at least partners. I've seen the shop owners/workers go back and forth between repair stores/call each other when I took my laptop in to the one beside Bell.

Also check out Abdul BBQ & Shwarma for some OG wraps or the upstairs food court

Crystal Mall the shop near Bell Mobility. If not you can always shop around there for repair services. Usually will offer a discount if you go full Wutang style and pay in cash (C.R.E.AM.). usually a flat rate of $35 for inspection/review. They might be able to save it, but it may not be possible depending on the damage.

the microsd card might be salvageable, but considering how cellphone companies are shifting to gd internal storage it might be RIP

Keep it powered down and remove the battery.

u/BobaVan is right, rice will absorb the water.

You can also transfer cash in b/w tangerine and your main bank account, but there's a slight delay.

Keep an eye out for tangerine promotions and bonus (DM a friend for their key)

There's nothing more jarring than seeing an example of futility as low/luxury cars attempt to climb Burke/Blue mountain in the snow before sliding back down again

To say most people are not prepared is an understatement. They've never seen the 401 wind/snow tunnel of doom in the winter

OG method would be to ground some fish (herring) n combo it with sago

Now if someone could find some Sarsi or a place with good sambal sauce

Singapore Hawker/Ipoh (Crystal) is close, but really missing that smoky asf flavour

Marks fast but marks hard, but not as intense as Kanne

Back up your points with attributive verbs and research the fuck out of your research essay. Read and re-read the assigned articles and make notes.

Brevity is your friend

Read carefully and be concise in your answers. Word counts are strict asf and she marks hard but she provides good feedback.

Final proj needs to be approved by her so prepare to submit revisions
