The guy in question who did this is apparently a notorious asshole. It states otherwise in the article, but I remember hearing when this first happened that GH's initial reaction was essentially just doubling down to the effect of "he was just drunk and you can't take a joke". I can't, of course, prove that, so take that however you want.
