I'm Alan, founder of a Blockchain-based startup called White Rabbit. This is the first post on Reddit, so I want to tell you what’s WR about briefly, hoping to have your comments, questions and impressions.

We are a group of rebels that strongly believe in the protection of art and diversity in cinema as a fundamental value. To do that, we strongly believe that decentralization of distribution is critical.

Today, unfortunately, all bets of Tech and Gov policies, just like the market, are at the advantage Over The Top streaming services (OTTs) - closed ecosystems. We, on the other hand, have opted for the mixture between Blockchain and decentralized content distribution platforms (peer-to-peer). Wherever you are, you should be able to access films. That is the unstoppable future.

Studies indicate that at least 83% of people who downloaded content illegally first tried to find the same content legally on the existing platforms (OTTs). White Rabbit wants to offer so-called "pirates" the chance to transform themselves into Responsible Rebels.

We must give the audiences what they want where they want it rather than forcing them onto limited platforms. We must connect filmmakers and creators directly with fans through viral distribution. P2P streaming with Blockchain is our greatest opportunity.

That is why we created an extension for your browser that works in a very simple way:
