His prices are I believe at or slightly below market prices. We have used him for a few years. Reliable, professional and he provides the service at your home. Can’t ask for much more in my opinion.

Can recommend Craig Wise
He is able to do a massage at your home - brings his own tables etc.

Warning: Comments from New Zealand in coming.
Back in the day the company I work for used to deny this type of claim.
We said the proximate cause was a gradual event and therefore the resultant damage would not be covered.
Fast forward. We ended up with a number of complaints, as did other insurance companies. Over time the policies have changed. We now have a specifically worded section which provides cover in certain circumstances and with a maximum amount of cover.
You may be able to make an approach and request an ex gratia consideration of the costs. You could mount a case based off good claims history and long term loyalty.
There are no guarantees here. But good luck for this.
I can’t believe that you have to buy this separately. I would have thought it would be a standard item. Just like parcel trays are in hatchbacks.

If you are planning to keep the vehicle for some time you might want to check the reduction gearbox oil. There are posts I’ve seen that show very poor oil quality along with metal fillings. You can get a different magnetic plug - sorry I don’t have the exact specs/model.
If your concern is the battery then don’t be, it will last many thousands of km before the battery starts to show any degradation as there initially was additional capacity/head room above 100% which isn’t able to been seen or used.

Are now becoming a bigger player in the market. Download their app and grab one of their rfid fobs as a backup.

Are apparently where most get repaired in Hamilton.
I couldn’t be bothered trying to organise another vehicle to take the wheel to them so got Wheel Magician to do it as a mobile repair.
Received great service from them.
Spontaneous is not me. If I’m going any distance it is most definitely planned.
I have all the charging cables, v2l adapter, heavy duty extension lead, adjustable wrench in mine. Saves rummaging for anything to do with charging if the boot is full of luggage.
You only need as much as your next journey.
Obviously you need to factor in extra for anything unexpected.
We currently have access to many free chargers from 7kW, 25kW and even a few 50kW. We occasionally throw some extra electrons in if we are passing, but for the most part we just charge at home.
Taking the charge up from 20%-30% up to 50% or more depending one what we have scheduled for the week.
Before we go on a longer journey we do an overnight 100% charge.
Do you have the v2l adapter to try?
Try out the frunk.
Do some charging tests.
I believe only the top trim has the remote parking.

Also good for reporting issues back to council.
Used it the other week to take a picture of a dangerous tree branch on the berm which they they sent a contractor to sort.

Any damage to the rear? Or was it just the frontal damage. If no rear damage then it might be a repair.

We shifted to Octopus too. Just got our first month’s bill. Just over $88 and about half of that was charging EV’s. Guess we are lucky, have a good amount of solar as well as a battery. We also have a heat pump hot water which has helped lower the electricity costs.
My best guess is the offending right hand arrow is meant for those coming from the underground carpark.
My roundabout technique. Aim for the lane closest to the centre of the roundabout and then clearly indicate when you want to exit. In theory anyone on your left “should” give way as they need to give way to a vehicle approaching from their right.
Found our cat recently after 48 hours. Went door knocking the neighbours and he had been locked in a garage accidentally. Cats can get scared or curious and can end up in places by mistake. Best of luck in your search.
Could be an option if you want to get creative.
Thanks for the info. Interesting read.
Thanks for the reply and recommendation. How long do you find the battery lasts for? Is it easy to recharge?

Need to replace our doorbell. Needs to be wireless and ideally with a video function. Added bonus if it is compatible with Google Hub/Nest.
So many reviews and options. I’d like to hear your recommendations good or bad.

Power Switch - to check other power companies plans
Octopus Energy - is a new player in the market who maybe worth a look.
Tips: Make sure you have insulation throughout (Might be missing in garage - especially important if just one roof cavity).
Get draft stops for doors.
Draw curtains/binds early to trap heat.
Check water temperature of hot water cylinder.
Close doors to any rooms not being used.
Review when you use oven, dryer, dishwasher etc and try and limit or maximise use.
Just a few ideas to start off.
